UDAIPUR, Jan 14 (TIWN): Rush of devotees were observed at Udaipur Matabari temple for Darshan & paying offers to Tripura Sundari Devi on the occasion of auspicious Makar Sankranti.

In early morning devotees had took holy baths in Kalyansagar (the big lake in the temple premise).

It’s believed that Tripura Sundari Goddess is very lively and whatever is prayed to her from a pure heart is fulfilled.

Rush of people are generally followed during at Mahalaya, Pahela Baishakh, Durga Puja, Chaitra Shankranti at Matabari, widely known as Tripura Sundari temple which considered as the most pious pilgrimage in state.

On Saturday also people from various corners of Udaipur City arrived at Matabari temple to pray Ma Kali for her blessing for their prosperous days in future.
