AGARTALA, Jan 13 (TIWN): Cash crunch continues to irk common man after two months of its inception .Most of the ATMs are not working and the working ATMs are releasing only 2000 rupee notes.
Common people are suffering a lot in the process. Getting exchange for 2000 rupees is a big deal due to lack of 500 and 100 rupee note in the market.
Even in bank it is difficult to get cash over the counter.
But the most interesting matter is that even after much pains, public were confident about Modi’s strong decision. They were saying, ‘the crisis is for a limited period. But this is the prevailing situation since Nov 8.
It was said that no harassment will be faced by public, but due to lack of cooperation from bankers, the public are facing hard times here.
