AGARTALA, Jan 12 (TIWN): Rumour millis spinning with another stage managed award for lameduck Tripura CM. Tripura CM Manik Sarkar to be rewarded as the Best (?) Chief Minister of India by an NGO created by 10th Election Commissioner TN Seshan. Most probably in this January month the award will be given to him.

T N Seshan was the Chief Election Commissioner of India (1990–96), who reformed elections by largely ending its malpractices in the country

In the UPA Era, Tripura received many awards as Pure-Urban Body, MGREGA etc. , whereas after the BJP Govt came in power the scenario fully changed as it proved how fraud the state govt’s depts are under Manik Sarkar’s Era.

T N Seshan who never visited Tripura however causing laughter as his NGO has considered Manik Sarkar as the wisest CM ever for some unknown reasons (?).

Tripura has no industry, less source of income, massive crime rate, pathetic crime rate, 7 lakhs unemployed youth--- yet Sarkar is the best Chief Minister? Country shoud do an unbiased survey before giving awards. 

In similar vain, few years back Manik Sarkar's CPI-M Govt paid NDTV Rs 9 Lakhs contract for covering Tripura - in exchange NDTV awarded Manik Sarkar at Delhi.

This new award also likely an arrangement where an NGO was given some contract of job at Tripura - in exchange of monetory benefits they are awarding award-hungry Tripura CM.
