AGARTALA, Jan 12 (TIWN): A noted approximately 7, 60,000 families across state is deprived of electricity and scarcity of electricity is an addition to the fact.
On Monday, ICU and NICU under Pediatrics Department faced an irksome situation due to load shedding. Load shedding started at around8:00 pm in the night, and till Tuesday 9:30 am there was no power. Generator served to manage the situation only for two hours .Admitted children suffered a lot.
Tripura State Electricity Corporation (TSECL) is under constraint to enforce frequent load shedding to deal with shortage of power available from the power plants installed here.
Tripura Power Generation Limited (TPGL) has been formed recently as per the direction of Central Power Act, 2003.
As per the direction of Central Power Act, 2003, the TPGL was formed in view of getting all the existing power plants run smooth.
At present S K Dubey is the advisor of the state owned TPGL Company.
