Jewellery shops of Tripura observed strike

AGARTALA, Jan 9 (TIWN): Along with whole India all the Jewelry shops have observed black day on Monday.
In 1963 during the era Morarji Desai as the Central Finance Minister a law was imposed on the Jewellery shops which resulted as a massive threat to the businessmen.
However protesting that incident a movement had began by the labours due to which many poor died on that time.
In remembrance of those protesters’ lives all Jewellery shops have observed strike on Monday.
The response to the strike was observed as of 100 %.
