AGARTALA, Jan 9 (TIWN): CM has not attended the CPI (M) politburo meeting held on Jan 6 till Jan 8 in Trivandrum, Kerala. This has become a moot point since he is the only politburo member from Tripura.

 As per reports, CM held  trivial meetings in  Santir Bazar and  Belonia in  corresponding dates of the politburo meet. It seemed Manik  eluded politburo meeting  deliberately.CPI M govt. is under stake in the state due to raising issues on chit funds scam and this may be reason behind his absence in  the meet.
