AGARTALA, Jan 8 (TIWN): The Left Front government promoted 30 Tripura Civil Service (TCS) officers violating Tripura high court order against reservation in promotion of government officers.

There are about 30 general-category officers, but without doing survey to find the number of SC and ST employees in the administration state govt already taken to promotes Civil Service officers  ,though the apex court had asked the Manik Sarkar government to follow the high court's order till the case had been disposed. The findings showed ST and SC employees constituted 51% of the government; the figure should be 48% (31% ST and 17% SC)
