AGARTALA, Jan 6 (TIWN): A seminar was held on Police Week-2017 at Rabindra Bhawan.

The main discussion topic was to minimize the gap between police and public.

Justice Subal Baidya, presently the Chairperson of Tripura Police Accountability Commission was the Chief Guest of the programme.

Tripura Commission for Women (TCW) Chairperson Manika Dutta Roy also illuminated the dais as the Guest of Honour.

DGP K Nagraj as always have talked long about the so called “diminishing crime-rate” of Tripura.

Justice Subal Baidya asked the police to conduct district wise various programmes which will link the people more with the police.
