AGARTALA, Jan 6 (TIWN): A latenight massive fire engulphed atleast 10 shops at Dharmanagar on Thrusday night to Friday early morning, which has created panics among the locals.
High flames of fire engulphed shops at Rajabri area near to Egiye Cholo Club.
A nearby retreading shop’s gas cylinder was the source of the deadly fire, which all of a sudden burnt other shops at there.
Locals alleged that the fire brigade team didn’t come in time evenafter calling them again and again, and 2 more vehicles with emergency equipments arrived the spot after half and hour, but already the fire had accomplished its deadly work on that market.
Among the 10 shops one was mobile shop, where a huge numbers of mobiles were stored.
The total loss yet to be known however & no casuality also reported so far others than lakhs of financial losses.
