AGARTALA, Jan 5 (TIWN): Whereas Tripura has marked for Education and increasing degrees, but the quality Education is very rare here due to the traditional Education business which has occupied the School and College premises.
At North Tripura Dist Polytechnic College the students were not allowed to sit in examination for long 1 hours just because they couldn’t give the fine to the vehicles.
What surprised is that the Principal of North Tripura Dist Polytechnic College Tirthara Sen has bound each of that College students to hire the College bus instead of incapacity of the poor students there.
Reportedly, if the students come via local vehicles it cost them only Rs. 200 to 250, whereas the charge of College bus is Rs. 1750.
But the principal has listed a rule that everyone has to pay that Rs. 1750 amount, whether s/he comes via college bus or not.
Reacting over the students cold participation, the Principal stopped the exam of the students unless they paid the money.
It was Mathematics exam, which was halted for an hours for few students, whereas many students guardians had come and paid the money and then only the students were allowed inside the Examination-rooms !
