KAMALPUR, Jan 5 (TIWN): State Level Basketball meet in three different categories began at Halhali at this sub-division from last evening. MLA Anjan Das inaugurated the state meet. After the inaugural session two matches were played last night. The meet were being played in three categories namely 35th Male, 32nd Female and 7th Boys’.

In the state meet in total 21 teams participated from 7 districts of the state. It got speculated that, host Kamalpur would give a tight fight to other teams. Moreover, the home facility would also make the host to maintain its long cherished tradition of surpassing others in the sport.

It might be mentioned here that, the three-day long state level meet would conclude on Friday.
