AGARTALA, Jan 5 (TIWN): Umesh Chandra Sarangi, IPS, after taking over charge of IG Tripura Frontier BSF, visited ICP Akhaura for the first time on Wednesday afternoon.

He greeted the troops of BSF and BGB deployed at their respective check posts and distributed sweets among the troops of both the Forces.

 He also witnessed the retreat ceremony.
