AGARTALA, Jan 4 (TIWN): 1 killed, 7 injured and 3 are left in critical condition at Silchar Hospital after an auto was coiled with a 12 wheeler truck at Dharmanagar-Churaibari road on Wednesday.

The accident held on the National Highway when an auto bearing number : TR052429 hit by the truck numbered :AS11AC3841.

All of a sudden the hapless people sitting inside the auto became critically injured among them the driveR died on the spot. The driver has been identified as Uttam Debnath (34).

The critically injured 3 persons, who are in Shilchar Hospital has been identified as Kamal Debnath, resident of Jail-road,Dharmanagar, Samiran Borak, resident of Rajbari, Mithun Malakar, resident of Kameswar-Sanjoy Colony.

More 3 person are now under treatment named : Shyamal Debnath, Rupam Debnath, Mitra Debnath.

On the one hand Tripura Police is celebrating ‘Police Week’, and boostings are high about lessening accident rates, on the other hand fatal accidents are killing everyday the citizens here, due to lack of traffic management, proper rules and regulations etc.

Due to the negligence of PWD the mentioned road has gone in its worst shape, which led the accident, said locals.
