AGARTALA, Jan 4 (TIWN): Tripura Pradesh congress on Wednesday remembers Former CM Sudhir Majumder on his 7th death anniversary.

Congress State President Birjit Sinha, MLA Gopal Roy & other Congress members paid floral tribute to him before Congress Bhawan.

Following that Congress members visited Sudhir Majumder’s house and also joined the ritual there.

The former Tripura chief minister and sitting Congress legislator Sudhir Ranjan Majumder passed away on 4^th January, 2009 following a massive cardiac arrest.

Majumder, 75, breathed his last in the wee hours after he was shifted to hospital late on Saturday night following a heart attack.

It was during his tenure that government employees got maximum financial benefit.
