AGARTALA, Jan 3 (TIWN): The 5.5 Magnitude earthquake has caused heavy losses to the households across Dhalai and North Tripura Dist.

Reportedly, many houses have majorly collapsed, cracks developed on walls.

No life-loss has been reported so far.

Power connection, internet connection has been fully cut off across North and Dhalai Dist, Dharmanagar TIWN correspondent reported Agartala office.

However, this is the 1^st earth-quake whose epi-center is in Tripura.
