AGARTALA, Jan 3 (TIWN): Tripura Pradesh Congress Vice President Piyush Kanti Biswas on Monday in a shocking speech at Agartala Party Office alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced demonetization just to match the tally for the next budget. “Before demonetization, it was said that in cash India has 16 lakhs 74,000 crores. Among the amount of black money is 5 lakhs crores. During 7th pay commission implementation meeting when decision was taken for implementing 1.5 lakhs cores for the employers; it was also decided that to manage the budget the money need to be kept in banks, so that the govt can invest the deposited money. Otherwise why so much restrictions in money-withdrawal? The Modi Govt wanted to lock the public money in bank, for own benefit”.

 “Money was only taken from common people, but no action taken against corporate sector owners”, added Biswas.

Citing example of how Modi came in power Biswas said in history many protest raised in the form of Anna Hazaree when Kejriwal, Kiran Vedi were also joined the move for lokpal bill, but now Anna Hzaree is out of the scenery. Ramdev has become now the 7^th richest man in India. All of the figures ahead of election just helped Modi to came in power.

Mod made many promises, as reducing oil-price, giving jobs to people, but all the opposite things are happening in India now.

“Due to the demonetization many people left work-less, income became slow, business receiving major losses. But Citizens gave the Central Govt 50 days and they were ready to suffer in those 50 days for the sake of Country’s development. But unfortunately in Tripura and other states the note-crisis has not been ended. What’s the reason behind it?”, Biswas said.

As per national congress party schedule on January 5 Congress will gheraou all Collectors and SDM offices protesting against demonetization and on January 8th Ceongress will organize massive protest through rallies.
