LONGTARAI, Jan 2 (TIWN) : To make the party acquainted with the prevailing situation, the ruling CPI-M (Communist Party of India-Marxist) in Longtharai Valley launched its own Facebook page in new year.

Opening the Facebook page, MP Jiten said "to reach out to the people specially among the youths, the page has been opened".

"The party has earlier decided to open the Facebook page to counter the malicious campaign against the party besides to reach out the people with party programme," said Mp Jiten.

 He said: "From the Facebook page, the party leaders would get the feedback about the functioning of the party and the government. We always give importance to the opinion and analysis of the people."
