The flag meeting was held there led by BSF IG D K Sharma and BGB Sector Commander Jakir Hossain.
Various important decisions were taken during thediscussion.
Before the meeting was held on Dec 2nd in an attempt to inspect the present condition of Rangauti border areas, where people since yrs have been alleged for living in miserable condition without basic facilities of lives, PCC Chief Birjit Sinha visits the area and met the common people there.
Allegedly, although they are Indians, but regularly they have to show their identity cards and after proper checking they can cross the fencing.
But everyday at 5 PM as per rule the gate gets close which creates hurdles for the daily labours there.

Locals urged to keep the gate open till 7 PM but it remained without any action till day. Allegedly, due to the fencing 14 families are living outside the fencing.
However, the flag meeting will bring some resolution to the problems at there.
