AGARTALA, Dec 26 (TIWN): Industry Minister Tapan Chakraborty on Monday inaugurates a small industry at Kailashahar, Unakoti Dist.

Reportedly, a local businessman Samarjit Dey, S/O-Shakarlal Deb is the owner of the industry.

Jila Parishad Shabhapati Kalpana Debnath, Municipality Chairperson Minati Bhattacharjee, Gournagar Panchayat Samiti Vice Chairperson Inchu Mia Khadim also remained present on that occasion.

NE State Tripura due to long ruling by Communist Govt, state’s bad roadway connectivity, geographical location etc it has remained unproductive in Industrial growth.

Small Industries and few private industries now are the last hopes for the state.
