AGARTALA, June 17 (TIWN): The counseling for allotment of different degree courses will be held at Nazurl Kalashetra from June 20 to 24, according to Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE).
While counseling under PCB group would be conducted from 20 to 22, the board would organize the same process for PCM from 23 to 24 June.
In the PCM categories, as many as 246 engineering seats of Tripura Institute Technology (TIT) will be offered to the aspiring students. The streams include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronic and Telecommunication and Electrical Engineering. Besides, 11 more seats in three engineering courses outside the state would be available for student choice.
In PCB category, a total of 86 MBBS seats of AGMC and TMC would be offered to the aspiring students. Seven BDS seats would also be available students while as many as 55 seats of BHMS would be offered to the students.
Ten B. Sc Nursing and 12 B. Pharma courses would available for students in this year’s counseling process, according to a release issued by TBJEE.
Apart from this around 70 professional seats like B.V Sc, B. Sc Agriculture, B. Sc Horticulture, B. Sc Forestry and B, Sc Fisheries would also be available for students.
According to sources, the state government expects to receive more medical and engineering seats under the Central Pool. “Now, we will conduct the counseling on the basis of the confirmed seats. Later, seats to be allocated under Central Pool could be distributed among students”, said an official of Higher Education department.
