AGARTALA, Dec 17 (TIWN): Once again allegation came against Tripura’s No.1 referral hospital GBP when after 5 days of crossing a patient, who was suffering from malaria, doctors failed to identify her disease.
Reportedly, Prabita Dutta (45), W/O-Utpal Dutta who was suffering from deadly disease malaria since 6 days, was admitted in GB Hospital from the 1st day.
But her family came to know about her actual disease when she was taken to Kolkata Apollo Hospital on Friday.
The family gave up hope for her life as the cause of the fever evenafter 5 days remained unknown at GB Hospital.
But surprisingly, when she was taken to Apollo Hospital within half an hour of test it came out that she had been suffering from malaria.
She belonged to a poor family and her family members took huge money in debt to take her to Kolkata.
However, her condition is better and gradually she is recovering from the deadly disease.
