Agartala, Sept 28(TINW): A seven member delegate of “Friends of Bangladeshâ€, Dhaka chapter led by its vice- president Nasseruddin Yousuf arrived here on Saturday. In the evening the visiting delegates had a courtesy call with Chief Minster Manik Sarkar at civil secretariat conference hall. They had discussion to further strengthen existing cordial Indo – Bangla relation, besides boosting the economic ties.
The delegates were given a warm reception by the chief minister at civil secretariat. Members of the delegate were senior journalist Abed Khan, former editor of Danik Samkaal and Jugantar, Saajadur Rehman journalists of The Daily Star, Shaktipada Tripura Human Rights Activists, Sohail Hyder Choudhury excecutive Rahim Afroz Gulam and Baki Masood industrialists, Rubet Firdoz assistant professor of dept of mass communication.
The Friends of Bangladesh is a registered charity committed to help and promote self reliance amongst poor and under privileged people in Bangladesh. The Friends of Bangladesh was established in 1981 with a mission to help the most disadvantaged and poor people in Bangladesh.
