BJP leads as the 2nd opposition party in bi-election

AGARTALA, Nov 22 (TIWN): Bharatiya Janata Party has become the 2nd winner in bi-election with in total 14,923 votes all together from Barjala & Khowai : (Barjala-12,395),(Khowai-2528).
TMC all together has got 14,406 by totalling Barjala & Khowai constituencies : (Barjala-5692), (Khowai-8716).
However, BJP is satisfied with the result, whereas for Khowai’s poor result BJP was ready.
CPI-M continued its winning record in both the constituencies, whereas Congress has miserably failed to stay in the competition with total 1,759 votes.
