AGARTALA, Nov 22 (TIWN): The much controversial figure in Bi-election, overcoming all the controversies, has finally become the MLA as the Bi-election result declared him as the winner for Barjala constituency.
SDM cum Returning officer S Chowdhury has handed over him the certificate of voting result, TIWN reported.
CPI-M candidate Jhumu Sarkar has won with 15,769 votes, BJP occupying the 2nd position with 12,395 votes, Trinamool 5692 and Congress 1063.
At Khowai also CPI-M in top position as Biswajit Dutta got 24,810 votes, Trinamool 8716 votes, BJP 2528 votes and Congress 696 votes.
