AGARTALA, June 9 (TIWN): Aftermath of the incident of BSF and Smuggler clash, Director General of Border Security Force D K Pathak already visited the state yesterday. Last Saturday, Govt. of Tripura ordered judicial enquiry to prove the factual matter. Accordingly District Magistrate of West Tripura Abhishek Singh started investigation from today. At the outset of the investigation he visited the spot accompanying with Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Manik lal Das & Dy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rajendra Datta.
During half an hour visit, DM talked to the BSF jawans those who are on duty at the occurred place. However he did not talk to the local peoples today. Mr. Singh says, he will ask the name and details of the jawans from BSF authority those who were on duty on that day. He also seeks the post mortem reports from Superintendent of GB Hospital about the two deceased persons. It is to be mentioned here that, one BSF jawans namely Sandeep Kumer and villager namely Ismile Mia succumbed to death in this incident.
District Magistrate Mr. Singh informed, a public hearing shall convey on 16th June at his office. Any person those who are eye witness of the incident, he or she can record his statement in front of him. If any person wants to keep secret his identity, the necessary arrangement shall also be made, he added.
A top official source said, based on the both FIR filed by BSF and Son of deceased person Ismile Mia, local police shall also investigate the matter. At the same time Intelligence Branch of BSF also has began investigation.
