JICA team spot visit to review JICA New Project

AGARTALA, 20 Nov (TIWN) : JICA team of Japan headed by Hiroshi Nakata and Aurag Sinha had visited all major rivers of the state including Gomati and Howrah, said Chief Executive Member (CEM) of JICA GS Raju.The project overview the development of 11 major rivers which was accepted by the JICA, the state will receive Rs. 1150 crore for five years.
The JICA team visited far-flung Karbook Subdivision & visited Gomati river, longest river in the state, said District Forest Officer (DFO) Shakti Singh talked to TIWN. Moreover they will also visit to Trishna Wildlife Sanctury.
