AGARTALA, Nov 19 (TIWN): Long queues of women were observed before the booths at Khowai and Barjala constituency.

An official report said that Tripura is leading the women’s voting rate with 82 %. 

TIWN eyewitness informed from both the constituencies that in compare to the men women are not lagging behind them.

Women since the morning 7 AM had gathered to cast their votes for their won approved candidates of their areas.

Total 39,007 voters, including 18,935 females, are casting ballot in the Barjala constituency. In Khowai, 39,400 voters are eligible, among them 19,436 are women.
