AGARTALA, Nov 18 (TIWN): The flags festoons and the decorations of BJP ahead of the Barjala bi-election were destroyed by some unidentified goons, alleged the BJP.

“The Left Front is apprehending to lose the seat in the coming Bi-election and due to which they are trying to suppress us. But, they should clearly understand that people cannot be lured by spreading violence,” a leader stated.

The leaders also alleged that the CPI-M cadres had, earlier, destroyed party flags, festoons in different areas of the Barjala Constituency areas.

It is to be mentioned here that the flags were torn, banners were thrown in the drain and the posters were also destroyed.
