AGARTALA, Nov 18 (TIWN): Tripura’s young development professional Sujit Ghosh has been conferred the Global Youth Award 2016 from India along with 10 young development professionals of the world.

The award distribution ceremony of the International Youth Committee was held at the Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi in the line of World Youth Conference 2016 on Nov 14.

When his name was announced with the native state of country, international delegates were eagerly waiting to explore about Tripura specially its culture, good governance tourism and scope of social development.

Sujit Ghosh hails from South Tripura district of Tripura involve in social development activities from the school days and currently working as Assistant Director of Voluntary Health Association of Tripura, Agartala.

The Conference was witness the participation of selected young development professional from 90 countries around the world. Shri Sujit Ghosh also participated as an International delegates and Speaker of the World Youth Conference 2016 to represent India.
