KAMALPUR, Nov 17 (TIWN): Within a span of one week one more life got snatched by electricity, here at Kamalpur today. A grocer cum carpenter died at his residence while crafting the furniture with machine. He was brought to the hospital immediately and the doctors declared him brought dead.

According to the incident, a grocer cum carpenter of Panchasi area under Kamalpur police station namely Saroj Debnath (31) was crafting wood for furniture with electrical tool. Around 1 pm his younger brother noticed Saroj in a standstill position with the machine on. Then he noticed electrocution and immediately switched off the main switch. Then Saroj was brought to BSM Hospital. But the doctors declared him brought dead.

The incident took the locality under grief. It might be mentioned that almost four to five days ago another youth got electrocuted at Mayachari No 10 area under Kamalpur Police Station.
