AGARTALA, Nov 14 (TIWN): Tripura has celebrated Children’s Day-2016, when many children do not know what is called ‘Children’s Day’.

These children are daily seen at Agartala city working whole day and study for them is just a matter of ‘Dream’.

The increasing child labour in Tripura has become a matter of concern, which has hit the Right to Education Era.

When the elite society was celebrating Children’s Day, the day and night of those children have been remained in darkness.

Poverty and lack of social security are the main causes of child labour.

A growing phenomenon is using children as domestic workers in urban areas. The conditions in which children work is completely unregulated and they are often made to work without food, and very low wages, resembling situations of slavery.
