Agartala, June 6 (TIWN): Two bodies were recovered including one unidentified newly born baby from two different places under Sedhai police station, today.

A police official confirmed that the newly born baby was recovered from the bank of stream under the Kalachand Bridge on Agartala-Hezamara road, today. The dead-body was found by the locals of the said area. Later, the locals informed to the police.

After receiving the information police of Hezamara police station rushed to the spot and recovered the body. Police is investigating the matter.

On the other hand, a 40-year-old woman’s hanging body was recovered from a forest of Bijaynagar area under Hezamara police station, today. The deceased was identified as Manju Biswas (40), a resident of Katlamara area, confirmed police.

It is being reported; Maju escaped from her house saying that she will go to her fathers’ house, last night. Later, her husband called up to her father to enquire about her but her father replied that Manju was not there. Preliminary, the both families of Manju and her husband marked it as funny story.

However, Manju committed suicide by hanging centering a dispute over Jamai Sashti with her husband Harlal Biswas, informed police.

Of late, the locals of Bijaynagar area found her hanging body today and immediately informed to the police. Later, a contingent of police of Sedhai police station visited the place of occurrence and sent the body for post mortem.
