AGARTALA, Nov 2 (TIWN): With the winter season coming closer, farmers are now busy to cultivate winter vegetables across Tripura.
This year vegetable prices were sky-rocketing and hopefully with much cultivation the price may go down.
TIWN visited few rural areas and reported that with the seasonal change practice of winter vegetable cultivation are on peak across rural Tripura.
TIWN reporter visited Lankamura, a border area near to Agartala where craze for vegetable cultivation was on peak. Women, men children all are jointly doing this nurturing for the upcoming season.
However, farmers are hopeful that in this coming season their business will be high.
“Last year vegetable cultivation in our area was quite satisfactory”, a local man told TIWN.
