AGARTALA, Sep 28 (TIWN): Tripura state BJP in demand of basic infrastructure at Barjala locality hit the road at Barjala-Airport route on Wednesday.

They demanded the road which is left in deplorable shape since years should be repaired soon.

They also claimed that the whole area is acutely suffering from power-disruption, water scarcity.

Even the locals complained many times about the issue, but PWD didn’t take any action to the matter.

As a result they staged mass protest on Wednesday, blocked the road. However Police controlled the situation after they held a talk to the BJP members present there.
