Agartala, May 23 (TIWN): A body was recovered from Sundartilla area under Sidhai police station this morning.

  The body has been identified as Nepal Debnath (35) of Sundartilla area, according to preliminary reports available with the police.

According to sources, some cut injury marks were found on the body suggesting he might be murdered by sharp cutting weapons.

After receiving the information, Addl SP along with OC of Sundartilla outpost rushed to the spot and started investigation into the murder.

The body has been sent to undertake postmortem.

When contacted, the Officer in Charge (OC) of Sidhai police station said, “Officers are still at the spot. Nothing can be revealed untill they return”.

According to sources, family dispute might lead the incident.

Two family members of the deceased were detained for interrogation, according to police.
