KAMALPUR, Sep 22 (TIWN): The trumpeted claim of Swachch Bharat and the show of participation in it by governmental offices and organizations in this state of golden regime remained virtually at propaganda.

And it became evident from the issue that, the badminton court of Old SDM office complex remained filled with garbage and broken bottles of wines. More importantly, the Court of SDJM remained just adjacent to it in the same area.

For weeks together, the wine bottles and other garbage got heaped on the badminton court which was used as a place of physical exercises by the staffs of the SDM and the Court during the winter season.

Moreover, the garbage caused a shameful sight of sight pollution. At the centre of the town and at the complex of the most important office such scenes just rebuke the notion of Swachch Bharat.

It got revealed that, the court staffs used to destroy the seized liquors on the badminton court. And hence the situation became so grave.

When asked about the matter SDM Subhasis Das informed that, the place got under the jurisdiction of the Judiciary. Further, as he remained at Delhi at present he could not tell anything more about the matter. But the SDM assured that, he would look into the matter after returning back to Kamalpur.
