AGARTALA, Sep 17 (TIWN): Viswakarma is known as the divine engineer and main architect in the universe. He is worshiped by the engineer community and professionals too.

The day of Viswakarma puja is almost fixed in 17^th Sep every year and  at the same time Kanya Sankranti also. From past few years Tripura Celebrated Viswakarma puja as  big as Durga puja which is the main biggest festival of Bengali culture.

At Old  Motor stand biggest budget puja celebrated which has been organize by different vehicle syndicates like Maruti syndicate, Bus syndicate ,Auto etc. Nagerjala stand also celebrated this puja and NIT Agartala ,TIT Agartala,ITI Agartala also celebrated this Festival.

People who have Truck and Bus or other drivers who have their own Bus and TruckS, also they observed the Puja at Homes.

Those who have bike and scooters they wash their vehicles and sprinkle holy water which is known as Shanti Jal. This is the only puja where machines are reverence with Disciple.
