AGARTALA, Sep 16 (TIWN): This time people are mostly carrying small size Viswakarma idol’s at their homes due to the high price of every items, including God’s stature.

“The price of Lord Viswakarma is also double”, said a customer at Maharaj Ganj Bazar.

Asking a fruit seller about price hike cause, he said “Every items’ are this time costly as we bought them from the businessman at high cost. People are preferring small size of Lord Viswakarma to manage their budgets”.

With all these the households are facing hard time & the price hike has spoiled the festive mood of public.
