AGARTALA, Sep 16 (TIWN): Ahead of college elections on Aug 20, students are now busy with Election campaigning.
They are positing banners, asking to give votes to their Unions.
However, this competition has created this time, as unlike last year few other competitors are there against SFI, a student union under CPI-M.
SFI to continue JNU row in Tripura, says SFI leader Nabarun Deb to TIWN on Thursday. Already in 13 Colleges, 670 seats are SFIoccupied, rest 121 seats to be achieved by SFI via College Election, says Deb.
Keeping eyes on College Election-2016, which is to be held on Sep 20, SFI has begun election campaigns in various Colleges.
To ensure SFI’s winning in College Election, SFI held protest rally against TMCP on Wednesday and said, “Vote for SFI to bring back peace in Colleges”.
BBMC, MBB College students jointly held rally at College Tila, and in various other spots the Student union is organizing rallies.
