KAMALPUR, Sep 13 (TIWN): The service of United Bank of India, Kamalpur branch once again deteriorated in last two months.
The service became irritating as the net connectivity remained fluctuating. And the authority remained with the same old answer of ‘poor net connectivity’. At the same time, other bank branches and even the UBI Halhali branch remained serving the customers at ease.
According to the complaint of the consumers, the service of the UBI Kamalpur branch reached the worst during last fortnight. The employees, pensioners, businessmen, MGNREGA labourers and commoners who had to knock the bank for their day to day transactions and works suffered a lot during those days.
A single transaction needed ten to twenty minutes instead of the maximum of 4 minutes in natural service. Again the bank authority used to continue transactions through a single counter.
Moreover, the connectivity remained fluctuating every now and then. Hence customers had to wait the whole long day in the bank and even they got no guarantee of completion of their transactions. Whenever, the authority was approached, the customers got the same old answer of ‘poor net connectivity’.
At the same time, other bank branches and even the UBI branch at Halhali continued smooth service. Now, it got revealed that, as the UBI Kamalpur branch got the opportunity of governmental transactions hence they found it needless to pay attention to commoners. Now, if the higher authorities look into the matter or not, remained the question.
