AGARTALA, Sep 10 (TIWN): 4 days after Tripura Trinamool Congress declared Dibachandra Rankhol as the opposition leader, Sudip Roy Barman via a press meet at Agartala TMC Bhawan said that if within 12th September Assembly speaker Ramendra Chandra Debnath, doesn’t declare Dibachandra Rankhol as the opposition leader, they will go for legal action.
On 6th Sept. Mukul Roy announced that Dibachandra Rankhol will be the opposition leader & the proposal will be placed before the Assembly Speaker on that day.
West Bengal TMC leader Mukul Roy mentioned that after a long discussion held between TMC MLAs & him it has been decided that Dibachandra Rankhol would be the opposition leader.
After that TMC Chairman Ratan Chakraborty gave the proposal before the Assembly Speaker Ramendra Chandra Bebnath on the same day.
After so many dramas atlast Assembly Speaker of Tripura has given TMC the recognition of an opposition party, Roy said.
He also mentioned about Dibachandra Rankhol to be the opposition leader from now and the proposal will be given to the speaker today itself.
However, he also claimed, “As expected, CPI-M will create much problems here too”.
Following that Sudip Roy Barman and TMC leader Dipak Majumdar told media that if within 12th Sept their proposal not accepted they will go for legal action.
