AGARTALA Sep 9 (TIWN): State Health Govt organized a workshop on Tele-Medicine at Pragna Bhavan on Friday even though its effectiveness Statewide is doubtful.
Workshop is aimed to overcome the medicine service in rural areas.
M.Nagaraju, Health Secretary, Dr.Aniruddha Dam , Prof.A.K Majumder IIT Kharagpur, ENT Specialists and many Doctors and High Officials participated in this Programme.
The Workshop started by Nagaraju’s speech and technical presentation regarding Tele Radiography Performance of Telemedicine Cost Benefit Analysis etc. and the Programme ends with Preparation of Action Plan and Vote of Thanks.
Rural population of Tripura is 83% of total population it show that if Rural people is heathy which means whole Tripura is healthy.
Just because the healthcare service is totally depends on Govt. that’s why it’s too difficult to shift serious patients in these regions to referral centre.
Workshop’s main motive is to makeup these deficit like shortage of specialist Doctor, low Infrastructural condition geographically backwardness.
