Agartala, May 17 (TIWN): Tripura Government Employees Federation (TGEF) is likely to file case in the High Court against the state government here on June 16 against deprivation of employees, said federation sources.
Federation Secretary Samar Roy said, “We would move to High Court against the deprivation of the state government”. Official sources said that federation will wait till June 15. If the state government fails to give the employees their pending payments by June 15, the federation will file case on June 16.
Besides, TGEF has taken an important decision to send a team to Delhi in the second phase. After the formation of new Government in Delhi, the team will meet with the Central Ministers and place the deprivation of state employees before them.
Also, TGEF is going to organize protest rally at 3 places in the city on June 15- Nagerjala bus-stand, old motor stand and Buddha Mandir. As many as 500 employees will remain present there. After the HC verdict of cancelling the recruitment of 10,323 teachers, TGEF decided to go for HC.
In the entire country, only the government employees of the state are yet deprived of grade pay under Central pay scale with 43 percent pending DA. The code of conduct for Panchayat election will get in action by the middle of June. If the state government does not give the employees their pending amount, the state would be deprived in XIV Finance Commission like XIII Finance Commission.
