KAMALPUR, Aug 25 ( TIWN): The transfer of GRS Pankaj Debnath from Harimangal vc to Raipasa vc under Ambassa RD Block ultimately resulted into road blockade. And the deadlock that began on Tuesdsy ended after 36 long hours when the SDM & the BDO assured the villagers to not to transfer Pankaj last afternoon.

Regarding the transfer of popular GRS Pankaj from Harimangal vc, the irked villagers kept the office under lock and key from Tuesday. But as it resulted nothing significant about the issue then the villagers blocked the Ambassa-Gandacharra road around 12-30 last noon.

Then the administrative top brass the SDM & the BDO rushed to the spot in the afternoon. After much negotiation they assured that Pankaj would be retained at Harimangal vc. Then the blockade ended. However, the long time killing of administration to mitigate the issue created much astonishment among the commoners.
