AGARTALA, Aug 25 (TIWN): Krishna Janmashtami, the birthday of Lord Krishna, is celebrating in Tripura with full enthusiasm.
However, the situation is gloomy in Agartala City due to section 144’s implementation, following a Communal riot created on Wednesdayafter IPFT held rally.
Still devotees are preparing for Janmastami with full dedication.
Janmastami commemorates the earthly appearance of Krishna, who is described in India’s sacred writings as God himself.
One of the biggest religious festivals in the world, it is celebrated by nine hundred and thirty million people around the world.
