KAMALPUR, Aug 25 (TIWN): The hopes and aspirations that were sown by CPI-M before capturing the power in Ambassa Municipal Council seemed distant dreams to be realised. The basic problems still remained prevalent. And in this context BJP stirred the road last afternoon at Ambassa. A rally roamed different parts of the town before placing the deputation.
The sewage of rain water remained to be a decade long problem of Ambassa. Thousands of dwellers still resided in the khaas land. The supply of safe drinking water also remained to be a grave problem.
Although CPI-M promised to resolve the problems but nothing got attained yet. Moreover, the basic facilities like health remained absent from many areas.
In there 12 point charter of demands BJP demanded the quick remedy of these problems. The CEO of Ambassa Municipal Council admitted the graveness of the issues. He also assured to remedy the issues. Gopal Sutradhar, Uttam Adhikari, Mridul Dutta, Shankar Chakraborty led the program.
