Udaipur/Chandrapur, Aug 22 (TIWN): NH-44 is in dilapidated condition but the Tripura authorities have no concern over the matter. Drivers and passengers blamed lack of monitoring of the roads by the authorities for their woes. Stranding of vehicular movement in the Nation Highways of Udaipur Sabroom road is a daily incident now a days.
This dilapidated condition of rod is giving tough time to the common people while travelling through NH44. For the last two to three years, no maintenance or repair of the road has taken place.
For the last two to three years, there has been no maintenance of the roads here. Drivers are the worst sufferers of this and it is still continuing. Many vehicles are stranded there due to breakdown of various parts.
Gomati & South Tripura remain cuts off from state capital due to the National Highway (NH-44) being water-logged. As a result state like Gomati & South Tripura is suffering while exporting ration goods.
