Agartala, May 15 (TIWN): The free coaching camp in the summer vacation concluded at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School today which was organised by the National Students’ Union of India.
As a part, a total of eight free coaching centres were opened across the state in the summer vacation to teach the poor students. These free coaching centres were started on April 24 and continued till April 15. Today was closing ceremony of the free coaching.
Altogether, 205 students from class six to ten have participated in the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School centre during the summer coaching camp. Well known teachers from the different schools of the city educated them. Besides, study a quiz competition was also organised among the students.
MLA Gopal Roy inaugurated the closing ceremony of free coaching in summer vacation by lighting the ceremonial lamp, today. During the function, prizes were distributed among the winning students of the quiz competition.
