AGARTALA, Aug 19 (TIWN): ONGC Workers Union organized a conference on Thursday afternoon and congratulated Dipa Karmakar and her coach Bisweswar Nandi for Dipa's success in Gymnast-world on behalf of Workers' Union and ONGC.

Apart from that Tushar Dutta, ONGC Workers' Union General Secretary also mentioned about various demands of the Union, and in that demand a nation-wide strike will be observed on 2nd September. 

The demands includes the salary hike atleast with Rs. 18,000/-, to increase employment oppurtunity, bonus, not to reform the Labour act etc.
