KAMALPUR, Aug 18 (TIWN): Hindu religious festival of Janmastami (the birth day of Lord Krishna) would be celebrated in grand style in the sub-division. ISKCON Durai Shibbari unit got all set to celebrate the ocassion with four days' program.

ISKCON Durai Shibbari temple incharge Ballavkrishna Dasa and Bhaktivedanta Mission School's Principal Premalata Devidasi informed about the program in the press meet this morning.

The program would start with mass rally on 23rd August. The formal inauguration would be on 24th evening. MLA Anjan Das would inaugurate the ceremony. MLA Bijoy Lakshmi Sinha would also be present there. Apart from religious observations there would be competitions of school children in different events. 

It might be mentioned here that, Janmastami would be celebrated in so grand style for the first time in the sub-division.
